I never once thought I’d be consuming mayo made without eggs, but I guess that’s why they say never say never. A food-tech by the name of Hampton Creek headquartered in San Francisco, California released their famed product “Just Mayo” in 2013. When I first discovered this egg-free mayo I was a little hesitant as to what to expect. I thought to myself “what the heck was I thinking purchasing mayo without an ingredient I have known to be so vital, especially if I am going to make a nice sandwich for lunch.
Surprisingly, the taste of Just Mayo was amazing and I have a pretty sensitive tongue when it comes down to quality and taste of food. I can’t really tell the difference between the mayo produced with eggs and, of course, the Just Mayo with the eggs. The people at Hampton-Creek really came up with a good formula, because if anyone is going to even thinking about switching and ditching all the cholesterol, the product has to be rockstar good. Since there are no eggs that exist and no animal by-products that means Just Mayo is vegan-friendly. Try it and this product might be your next favorite thing. Let me know what you think.
